The Lambda Beta Chapter of Chi Omega has been lucky to enjoy a long history at the University of Rhode Island. Established as local sorority Omicron Alpha Alpha in 1918, the Lambda Beta Chapter of Chi Omega was chartered in 1922. This makes Chi Omega one of the two oldest sororities at URI! With almost 100 years of history as a chapter, we've had two homes, several thousand members, dozens of awards and honors, and countless memories together!
